At the end of this month, we wish a very happy retirement to Keith Bateup who hangs up his handles and hinges after working in the Ironmongery industry for 50 years! Starting out at Bunces in 1976 on the trade counter, Keith has worked for various Ironmongers and Merchants throughout his working life, before joining us in 2023.

An amazing career, with a very broad network built up in the construction sector in Sussex and the wider Architectural Ironmongery industry nationally. There will be many who will miss him!

Since joining us over three years ago, Keith has become a hugely valued member of the team, developing our Ironmongery offering to a broader range of customers and imparting some of his extensive knowledge and customer service skills to other members of our team.

Part of his legacy is therefore a team ready to continue this after he leaves and offer the same great service and knowledge going forward. Please do get in touch as normal with any enquiries and Steve, David, and Alanya will be in touch to assist you.
