Forterra Brick Ironstone is a premium pressed facing brick, manufactured to BS EN 771-1 standards at the Whittlesey factory.
Measuring 215mm wide, 65mm high, and 102.5mm deep, it features a frogged configuration with 15–20% voids and a light textured finish, providing both aesthetic appeal and structural reliability.
With a compressive strength of 25 N/mm², water absorption of 23%, and a durability rating of F1, this brick delivers excellent performance in external applications. It has a dry weight of 1.95 kg, dimensional tolerance mean T2 with a range of R1, soluble salts rating S2, and thermal conductivity of 0.45 (?10,dry) or 0.75 when exposed at 5% (W/m.K), making it suitable for a wide range of residential and commercial masonry projects.
