Our Garden Centre in 1- 3 South Street Lancing is now selling parsnip seeds. Growing parsnips from seed is incredibly easy. All you need is somewhere to grow them, some parsnips seeds and a trowel. To sow the seeds, simply dig a small trench approximately 10cm down and sow individual seeds along the trench. Once the parsnips have begun to grow and show leaves above the ground, simply thin out the plants to allow them room to grow. Harvest your parsnips next autumn and winter.
